Canine Influenza Virus/Dog Flu
Oak Knoll now carries the H3N2-H3N8 combination Canine Influenza vaccine. There has been one confirmed case of H3N2, so far this year, in Minnesota. According to the American Medical Association, there have been confirmed cases of H3N2 in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, Kentucky, Tennessee, Missouri, Louisiana, and Illinois. If you are traveling with your dog out of state, or if your dog is exposed to other dogs, especially through boarding or daycare, please contact one of our veterinarians to determine whether this vaccine is indicated.
