One of the most unique features about Oak Knoll is the Wall
of Fame.
What started out several years ago as a single bulletin board
with a few snapshots of our patients has grown slowly into two
bulletin boards...then into three...then into twelve...then into
a solid wall of cork covered from top to bottom in pictures.
Currently, our Wall of Fame is three feet high and forty five
feet long. Of that space, all but 4 feet of wall
remains to be covered.
When that's full, we'll just put up more cork and keep on
going!
We just can't bear to part with any of the pictures, and it
is so heart-warming to watch long-time clients as they approach
the wall to look for old friends and smile...
It's the 21st century now, and we are moving our new Wall of
Fame members online!
Don't worry! You will still be able to see the
originals on our wall, just where they always were.
The only difference is that now you can view them at home as
well!
