Meet Our Doctors
Dr. Jeremy Smith
Dr. Smith is a graduate of the University Of Minnesota College Of Veterinary Medicine. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from Iowa State University. Away from the clinic, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, as well as pursuing his hobbies: fishing and barbequing.
Dr. Tracy Earl
Dr. Earl earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Olaf College and her Doctorate from the University of Minnesota. She currently has one cat named “Zoe” and she spends her free time biking, cooking and traveling.
Dr. Jeanie Maddy
Dr. Maddy graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Psychology from Valparaiso University in Indiana and received her doctorate from Washington State University. She enjoys traveling, camping and outings with her dog “Stingo”. She relaxes with yoga, reading and hanging out with her dog and four cats; “Sophie”, “Fern”, “Boo”, and “Fyodor”.
Meet Our Staff
Kari Klassen- Practice Manager
Kari comes from outside of the animal health industry and has a strong background in customer service and office management. She is a graduate of the University of Minnesota – Crookston with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing and Management. She enjoys working at Oak Knoll because each day is different and so rewarding. She currently has three cats, which have all been adopted from Oak Knoll, “Silk”, “Clooney”, and “Lily”.
Vicki Corradi- Reception
Vicki graduated from the Minnesota School of Business in 1995 as a Veterinary Assistant. She started working at Oak Knoll Animal Hospital soon after her externship and has been here ever since. She has four cats that share her home, “Pewter”, “Jimmy”, “Vinny”, and “Spike”. Since working at Oak Knoll she has become very fond of the clients, patients and employees of the facility. “I truly enjoy getting up in the morning and coming to my place of business, not everyone can say that about their job so I am blessed with that.”
Kendra Nelson - Certified Veterinary Technician
After 20+ years in Healthcare, Kendra decided to turn her love of animals into a career. She has worked as a Certified Veterinary Technician at Oak Knoll Animal Hospital since graduating from the Medical Institute of Minnesota in 1999. One of her favorite things about working here is seeing the clients and their animals return year after year. She currently has one dog, “Sully”, and two cats, “Raisin” and “Izze”.
Robyn Rodrick - Certified Veterinary Technician
Robyn worked in restaurant management for eight years before deciding to turn her love for animals into a career. After graduating from the Medical Institute of Minnesota in 2001, Robyn began her internship right here at Oak Knoll Animal Hospital. The internship developed into a full time position and she has been working here ever since. In her spare time she enjoys watching movies, reading, shopping and playing with her cats "Shelby", "Felix" and "Ozzy". Robyn enjoys working at Oak Knoll for many reasons, including her love of animals and getting to work with them every day brings joy to her life, and also the work is very interesting and never boring.
Angie Thissen - Certified Veterinary Technician
Angie graduated from Ridgewater College in Willmar in 1995. She started her veterinary technician career in Rochester where she worked until she moved to the Twin Cities in 1998. She then began working in a local veterinary hospital and spent the next eight years working on small animals as well as exotic pets. She has worked at Oak Knoll Animal Hospital for five years as a part-time technician. She currently has three cats, "Cherry", "Zander", and "Simone". “I like working at Oak Knoll because they practice excellent medicine and I like being a part of that.”
Jaime Topero - Veterinary Technician
Jaime is a Veterinary Technician who joined our team in August 2007. She graduated from Argosy University in 2004. She has been working with animals for over 15 years. She currently has four dogs, “Frankie”, “ChiChi”, “Charlie” and “Noodle” and two cats, “Nascar” and “Sam”. She enjoys being able to have a career working with animals every day and hopes to see yours soon.
Amber Novak- Veterinary Technician
Amber is a 2006 graduate of Ridgewater College in Willmar. She worked in southern MN for a couple years before joining Oak Knoll Animal Hospital in January of 2009. She enjoys working at Oak Knoll because there is something new and exciting every day and enjoys the clients and their pets. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, riding motorcycles, and hanging out with their new love "Milo".
Krista Hagen - Certified Veterinary Technician
Krista recently graduated from Minnesota School of Business. She is a Certified Veterinary Technician. We are excited to have Krista aboard and part of our team. If she is the technician that rooms you or helps you and your pet, make sure to introduce yourself. “I like working at Oak Knoll Animal Hospital because every day is a chance to learn something new, I learn from the staff and from the clients. I also enjoy seeing all the different animals and their many different personalities.” She currently has two cats, "Boobutt" and "Shadow" and one dog, "Rugby".
