Pet Adoption

Oak Knoll Animal Hospital does not accept pets from the public for adoption.

However, we do occasionally assist our local humane society when they become

overcrowded and have more pets surrendered than they can care for.

Click or call for information about these sweethearts currently available at Oak Knoll!

We truly care about the future of pets that we offer for adoption.  To make sure that these animals receive the follow up care they need, we require a $100 adoption fee be paid at the time of adoption.  These funds are applied to your new pet's account and you can use them however you choose; to spay or neuter your new pet, to pay for vaccines or even to buy food for him or her!

WHO'S READY FOR A NEW COMPANION?

Here she is!

"Marika" is a very good-natured, attentive, smart, active 4 1/2 year old, spayed female Border Collie / Shepherd Mix. She weighs 40lbs. She is a rescue from Taiwan: one of the lucky ones chosen to fly to the United States with a veterinarian overseeing the closure of a shelter there.
She is up to date on her core vaccines, has tested negative for Heartworm Disease, Lyme, Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis (other tick borne diseases) and intestinal parasites. She is also microchipped.
She does have a large scar over her rear from a previous dog attack which will need special care to prevent sun burn and/or skin cancer.
She is a very loving sweet girl who is so eager to please her new people! If you are at all interested, or know anyone that is, please call us immediately at 952-929-0074.
